Two essentially identical steel deck panels are fastened together to form a single panel. One of the panels remains in its normal position and the other is inverted. Typically, these panels are factory assembled.

How Mirror Image Deck Works:

One of the sheets stays in its normal position while the other is reversed. Normally these panels come already assembled from the manufacturer. 

Why Mirror Image Deck Matters:

The flutes of the deck can then be filled with a sound absorbing material or used as runways for electrical cables.
