How End-Lap Joints Work:
When two pieces of metal deck with the same profile are adjacent, an end-lap joint can be used to fasten the two sheets together by overlapping a portion of each sheet and fastening them together.
Why Use a End-Lap Joint:
A end-lap joint is a common roof decking joint since the joint itself can be used with other water proofing materials to create a water tight seam in the roof deck.
